The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard, for organic fibers. Including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. This means that everything from fiber to ready made products are organic. Also the working environment is reviewed meticulously, and must follow certain rules. 

BCI

BCI, Better Cotton Initiativ. 

Cotton is one of the most environmentally harmful fibers used all over the world. It takes a vast amount of water, and a lot of synthetic pesticides to grow cotton.

This organization educates and helps farmers to use less water by finding better soil and seed. Also finding non-chemical alternatives, less harmful to the earth.
